Hello, I’m Stephanie Harris it’s so nice to meet you.

I am a Mental Health Advocate, Holistic Coach, and Functional Nutrition Mentor.

I am passionate about sharing holistic tools and real food nutrient solutions to balance the mind and body. I am dedicated to supporting women and their families who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and stress find the strategies that work for their body and mind.

What brings me here? A promise made to my boy. You see, he died not so long ago from a disease  I believe had a cure. Depression took his life. He died by suicide at only eighteen. His life too short.

The WHY after my boy took his life haunted me night and day. I studied and searched looking for change.  Then one grief-filled afternoon I uncovered a truth we all need to know…..it’s so simple that Hippocrates said it many moons ago. I was blind to it, and you may be too.

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

Yet, here we are in this year filling our bodies with toxic poisons, pesticides, GMO foods, chemicals, fillers, and the Standard American Diet. We are rushing through this life like a runaway train. Burning ourselves out until we crash and burn.

When he was gone…my beautiful boy, the first born love of mine.

I was left with friends and strangers wanting the why on depression, anxiety, and suicide too. So many called and said: “What can be done?” They were looking for a quick fix, an answer to stop the madness of suicide.

The truth is we need to look upstream. Stop waiting for our minds, souls, and bodies to rush over the waterfall of death, disease and pain. Look upstream before it’s too late.

The current is gentle and able to handle change. I said it at my beautiful boy’s funeral and I say it today.

Stop, Slow down, listen and pray.

What can we do to change?

Not everything is in our control. I can not change the mental health system overnight, I can not teach each doctor to embrace functional medicine. I can not change the genetic code built inside of you. Mental Health is complicated and each person has their own story and journey to wellness. 

I CAN make everyday choices to protect my own health and mind. I WILL be the gatekeeper of wellness in my home. I AM modeling health and wellness to my children and those around me. I MUST  heal my mind, body, and soul if I want to be well and so must you.

The discoveries I made are not just about depression and mental health, but of whole body, mind and soul pain. My research led me to cancer, autoimmune disorders, mental health disease, heart disease, diabetes, and autism.

The amazing end to this is that science shows us there is HOPE.

THERE CAN BE CHANGE!

There are six basic components to Mental Health Wellness I believe can change your world. I know they have mine.

Healing Foods – Each body a unique venue, when paired with the right nutrients and minerals, supplied by real God created foods, we can thrive. 

Toxin Free for Life – Detox chemical and environmental poisons, eliminate food toxins and release emotional strongholds, freeing our bodies from the damage within.

Mindful Living– Fill your mind with the present moment. Slow down and recognize the gifts of now. Connect with God, listen to your heart and silence the chaos of life with mindful practices.

Movement & Exercise – Our bodies were created for motion. We thrive when we move. Energy, oxygen, and life are waiting to be set free!

Replenish & Repair –  Our cells, mitochondria and body systems need a boost. We must supplement with natural alternatives to the basics our environment does not hold for us. When we do, we will see wellness most will never know.

Tribe  &  Village – Our minds, bodies, and souls were created for companionship. We need a tribe to keep us together. It truly does take a village.

These components and my support are never meant to take away from medication or professional therapy support that you may need. They are meant to pair well with other professional supports for optimal mental wellness.

My promise, to equip women with the tools they need for their own mental wellness and that of their family.
